2 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks claimed former New Orleans Saints running back Tony Jones Jr. off waivers on Monday with Rashaad Penny (leg) now done for the rest of the season, according to a source. Jones will provide depth in the running back room in Seattle behind rookie Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas with Travis Homer (ribs) still on Injured Reserve. In two games with the Saints this year, Jones had just two carries for eight yards and caught both of his targets in the passing game for 12 yards. The 24-year-old is strictly depth for the Seahawks and can continue to be ignored in fantasy leagues, even with Penny done for the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
