4 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf) had a full practice on Friday but is listed as questionable for Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Watkins is optimistic about playing in the big game despite not having played since tweaking his calf in Week 16. The 27-year-old had just 37 receptions on 55 targets for 421 yards and a career-low two touchdowns in 10 games during the regular season. Watkins had a big role in KC's Super Bowl run a year ago in the postseason, but the Super Bowl this year will be his first postseason game this season if he's active. With Demarcus Robinson also cleared of COVID-19 protocols, it's hard to imagine Watkins being a big producer against Tampa on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
