Sal Romano Loses Weight
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sal Romano said he has lost almost 15 pounds since the season ended. “I was always 270 (pounds), creeping up a little bit,” Romano said. “I just wanted to see how my body reacts. I’m going to see how I feel when I do start throwing and see how my arm responds, my body responds. If I need to put a little bit more weight on, I’ll do that. But I really was determined to lose some weight this offseason." The right-hander had a 5.31 ERA in 39 outings (25 starts) for the Reds last year and will compete for a rotation spot in spring training. You can avoid him in mixed leagues.
