3 years agoThe Chicago Cubs placed right-handed reliever Ryan Tepera (calf) on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a calf strain. In corresponding moves, right-hander Trevor Megill was sent to Triple-A Iowa, while left-hander Adam Morgan and right-hander Tommy Nance were called up from Iowa. Infielder Matt Duffy was also placed on the 60-day injured list. Tepera is a big loss for Chicago's bullpen, as he was posting a 3.35 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, one save and 41 strikeouts in 37 2/3 relief innings this year. He's not worth holding onto in deeper leagues, but Tepera can be useful in cavernous saves/holds leagues when he's back healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
