Russell Wilson Tipped Plays In Week 1
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett said Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson tipped some of the plays in the Week 1 loss by using the same old hand signals that he used while playing for Seattle. According to Pro Football Focus, Wilson was 2-for-7 on passes 20 yards or further downfield for 94 yards, including a 67-yard touchdown to Jerry Jeudy. The 33-year-old veteran QB finished the game 29-for-42 for 340 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, but he didn't look extremely comfortable running the offense in his first game with the Broncos. He'll have a chance to settle in and bounce back in the team's home opener against the Houston Texans in Week 2. Houston's secondary has been beatable for years, making Wilson a top-10 fantasy QB this weekend.
