Russell Wilson A Full-Go This Week
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson (concussion) is a full-go at practice this week, according to head coach Nathaniel Hackett. This supports Hackett's claim after the Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals that Wilson would return from his concussion to play in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day on Sunday. The 34-year-old signal-caller passed the league's concussion protocol but was held out as a precaution last Sunday. In an extremely disappointing first year in Denver, fantasy managers should continue to treat Wilson as a low-upside QB2 despite a somewhat favorable matchup against a Rams defense that will likely continue to be without All-Pro pass-rusher Aaron Donald (ankle). Wilson could be getting receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring) back from a two-game absence.
