6 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Ronald Guzman still has some tearing in his hamstring and won't start a rehab assignment on Wednesday. He might instead go to Arizona this weekend to get at-bats in extended spring training. The Rangers aren't taking any risks with his hamstring, so don't expect him back by April 30 when he's eligible. Guzman was hitting .231 (6-for-26) with two homers and four RBI, so he's only worth stashing in AL-only leagues. Logan Forsythe and Patrick Wisdom should continue to share playing time at first base until Guzman is healed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
