Roman Quinn Not Playing Friday
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn (foot) fouled a ball off his foot in the series against the Marlins and isn't playing on Friday. However, he will be available off the bench, according to manager Gabe Kapler. The injury doesn't seem too serious, so Quinn could be back starting on Saturday. He's been good for the Phils in his 80 at-bats this year, hitting .338/.369/.525 with a homer, seven RBI and seven steals. He's mainly useful in deeper leagues for his speed. Aaron Altherr is in center field and is hitting third against Mets starter Steven Matz on Friday. Altherr has really struggled this year (.170 average, six homers in 212 at-bats), but he could be a sleeper option worth pursuing in DFS games.
