Roenis Elias Was Unavailable Tuesday
6 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Roenis Elias, who leads the team with four saves, was unavailable on Tuesday against the Cubs with some soreness. The left-hander has been the best bet for saves from a fantasy perspective with Hunter Strickland injured. He has a nice 2.16 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 14 K's in 16 2/3 innings and two wins to go with the four saves, but he might need a little rest this week. Anthony Swarzak, who has three saves, might be next in line, along with Brandon Brennan. Seattle's closing situation is still unsettled, but Elias remains the best bet as long as his injury doesn't keep him sidelined for too long.
