Robinson Cano Remains Out Tuesday
6 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano (hand) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday. X-rays came back negative after Cano was hit by a pitch on Sunday, so consider him day-to-day for now. Jeff McNeil is starting at the keystone and is batting leadoff on Tuesday against Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo. McNeil is hitting a cool .347/.441/.474 with a homer and 11 RBI on the season. He isn't the best option for counting stats, but you can't argue against his hot start to the year. McNeil does face a tough matchup in Castillo, who has been one of the best starters in baseball over the first month.
