Robinson Cano Remains Out Saturday
5 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano (quadriceps) is not in the starting lineup again on Saturday. Cano came off the injured list on Wednesday and immediately re-injured his quadriceps and hasn't played since. The good news is that Cano has worked out the last couple days and is available off the bench if necessary. Jeff McNeil is at the keystone and is hitting leadoff against Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray on Saturday night. He'll be a fine DFS selection in the top spot, but his counting stats and power have been lacking in 2019. Cano has struggled to get going in his first year with the Mets, hitting just .238 with three homers and 14 RBI in 172 at-bats.
