The 6-foot-3 southpaw has already touched 97 mph with his fastball, and given the fact that he's just 19 years old, he should gain additional velocity over the next few years. His slider is also quite advanced for his age, though he needs to develop his changeup as a solid tertiary offering in order to be a reliable rotation option long-term. The teenage hurler was brilliant in August, earning a promotion midway through the month and allowing just four runs over 24.2 innings of work. He was particularly impressive during his final outing on Aug. 30 in which he tossed five no-hit innings.
