Robby Anderson, Jamal Adams Active
5 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson (illness) and safety Jamal Adams (ankle) are active for Week 16 against the Steelers, but wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) will sit out. Anderson was expected to play the entire time, but he'll face a tough matchup with Pittsburgh's strong secondary in this one. Consider Anderson a boom/bust WR3 deep threat for New York's inconsistent offense. With Thomas out, Vyncint Smith should be the team's No. 3 wideout, but he shouldn't be considered in fantasy. Adams return is good news for New York's weak secondary, but the Jets Defense should still be avoided in fantasy. It's a downgrade to Pittsburgh's offense as a whole, and quarterback Devlin Hodges has been pretty bad and is in danger of being benched this week if his struggles continue.
