Robby Anderson In Danger Of Missing Week 8
6 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson (ankle) is missing practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Anderson must get in a practice on Friday to have any chance of playing in Week 8 against the Bears. With Quincy Enunwa (ankle) also out and Terrelle Pryor no longer on the team, New York's wide receiver depth is incredibly thin. If Anderson if forced to sit, Jermaine Kearse would be the team's top wideout. Charone Peake, Andre Roberts, rookie Deontay Burnett and recently-signed Rishard Matthews would all need to step up. Rookie tight end Chris Herndon IV has been more involved in recent weeks and could be in play as a DFS sleeper at the position.
