Robby Anderson Greeted With Frigid Market
5 years agoIt was anticipated that free-agent wide receiver Robby Anderson would receive plenty of attention on the open market as the No. 2 available wideout behind Amari Cooper, who quickly re-signed with the Cowboys. However, free agency hasn't gone as expected for Anderson and he's still available without anyone showing interest in him four days into free agency. The New York Jets remain without a No. 1 receiver and Anderson has worked with quarterback Sam Darnold for two years and knows head coach Adam Gase's system. With his price dropping, the Jets could get Anderson to return at a price they're comfortable with. The 26-year-old has never had a 1,000-yard season and was a disappointment in his second year with Darnold in 2019. If he returns to New York, Anderson will be more of a WR4/flex for fantasy owners.
