Robbie Grossman Out With Illness
4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman (illness) is out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals with flu-like symptoms. Fantasy managers should consider Grossman day-to-day for now. Detroit's leadoff man is hitting just .232 on the season, but he does have nine home runs, 34 RBI, 37 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 70 games this year to go along with a .341 on-base percentage and .732 OPS. Akil Baddoo will move up to the leadoff spot on Wednesday against Cardinals right-hander John Gant, while Daz Cameron is inserted into the sixth spot while manning center field. Baddoo's DFS appeal increases out of the leadoff spot. He's hitting .270 on the season with 10 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 20 RBI and eight steals in 55 games in 2021. Baddoo is also slashing .357/.449/.452 in the month of June.
