6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould was absent for the start of the team's offseason workouts on Monday. Gould isn't happy about receiving the franchise tag and was hoping to hit the open market so that he could return to Chicago and kick for the Bears. It doesn't sound like Gould is open to a long-term extension before the July 15 deadline, either. The 36-year-old veteran was 33-for-34 in field-goal tries (97.1 percent) in 2018 and also made 27 of his 29 extra points as a solid fantasy kicker. He should once again be a serviceable fantasy kicker if he remains in San Fran. Jon Brown is currently listed as the backup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
