Robbie Anderson Ruled Out For Season Finale
2 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver Robbie Anderson (back) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. With DeAndre Hopkins (knee) also ruled out for the second straight game, Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch and A.J. Green should operate as the primary pass-catchers for the Cardinals in a meaningless game for them with quarterback David Blough making his second straight start. Anderson will finish an extremely disappointing 2022 season in which he caught 20 passes on 44 targets for a career-low 282 yards and only one touchdown in 16 games for the Cardinals and Carolina Panthers. He caught just seven passes for 76 yards in 10 games with Arizona. The 29-year-old is heading into the final year of his deal, but there's a good chance he'll be cut this offseason.
