Rich Hill To Miss Two Weeks
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill suffered a medial collateral ligament strain in his left knee in his spring start last Sunday and is expected to miss two weeks, according to manager Dave Roberts. The left-hander tried to throw a bullpen on Tuesday but experienced pain, and an MRI exam showed a Grade 1 strain. Hill compared the pain to a turned ankle. It's not exactly what you want to see from a starter entering his age-39 season, but at least there is no structural damage. When healthy, Hill can still be an effective fantasy starter for depth in mixed leagues, but injuries continue to be an issue with him.
