Rich Hill To Make Rehab Start Next Week
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill (knee) is tentatively scheduled to make a four-inning rehab start next Wednesday or Thursday, according to manager Dave Roberts. The veteran southpaw threw a three-inning simulated game on Friday and felt "great." Hill will likely throw a bullpen on Sunday, and it hasn't been decided if his start next week will come with Triple-A Oklahoma City or Double-A Tulsa or whether he'll need one or two rehab starts before joining the Dodgers. He continues to wear a brace on his knee. Hill pitches for a good team and can still offer decent strikeout upside when he's right, so he should be picked up in mixed leagues if he's still floating around on the waiver wire.
