Rich Hill Still On Track To Pitch In June
5 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Rich Hill (elbow) is back in his home in Boston and is working with the same physical therapist that he used in the offseason, according to president of baseball operations Derek Falvey. Hill remains on track to pitch for the team in June. The veteran left-hander might actually be ready for when the season starts, assuming there is a season at all in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic. The 40-year-old is a big injury risk, especially because of his age, but he's put up useful numbers for owners in mixed leagues when he's been on the mound in recent seasons. Hill had a 2.45 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 72 K's in 58 2/3 innings (13 starts) for the Dodgers in 2019.
