Rich Hill Has Successful Rehab Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill (knee) tossed four scoreless innings for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday, allowing only two hits while striking out eight on 54 pitches. His fastball sat around his usual 89-92 mph. The veteran left-hander was hoping to make only one rehab start before making his season debut with the Blue, and he certainly did enough on Wednesday to make that happen. Hill could join LA's rotation for his next turn, where he'll be a solid fantasy starter in most every format. Pick him up if he's still available in your league. Young lefty Julio Urias is expected to be moved to the bullpen when Hill is ready.
