4 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Reyes Moronta (forearm) is slated to throw a live bullpen session and could be activated from the injured list as soon as May 3 on the road against the Colorado Rockies, according to manager Gabe Kapler. Moronta is dealing with a right flexor strain. The 28-year-old right-hander saw a drop in velocity due to his injury to begin the season, but he had allowed just one run on a homer while striking out two in four innings of work out of the bullpen in four separate appearances so far this season. It sounds like Moronta will be back in the Giants bullpen rather shortly, barring a setback, but left-hander Jake McGee remains the one to own in fantasy in this bullpen as the team's closer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
