Redskins Playmakers All Listed As Questionable
6 years agoWashington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said running backs Adrian Peterson (ankle, knee, shoulder) and Chris Thompson (rib) and wide receivers Jamison Crowder (ankle) and Paul Richardson (knee, shoulder) will all be questionable for Week 6 against the Panthers. For an offense already struggling for production, this is bad news. Richardson looks to be the most in danger of sitting out. Both Crowder and Richardson were shaky flex plays to begin with, so this makes them even more unattractive. Josh Doctson and Maurice Harris could see much bigger roles, and tight end Jordan Reed is a strong TE1 play regardless. Peterson will be more risky as a volume-based RB2 if he plays. Thompson is a shaky RB3/flex option. The good news is we'll know everyone's status early Sunday morning.
