Redskins Planning To Be Without Alex Smith In 2019
6 years agoThe Washington Redskins are planning to be without quarterback Alex Smith (leg) next season, according to sources. The team thinks he'll miss the entire season after suffering a gruesome broken leg last year and are acting accordingly. Smith will turn 35 this May, so it's fair to wonder if he will ever play again. It's not like he was exactly playing that well in his first season in D.C. before his injury, either. With just Josh Johnson and Mark Sanchez on the roster, the team will most certainly be in the mix for a quarterback this offseason, whether it be on the open market or through the draft.
