Redskins Go With Chase Young At Second Overall
5 years agoThe Washington Redskins selected Ohio State defensive end Chase Young with the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday. The Redskins were getting calls about the second overall pick, but it was pretty clear from the beginning that they weren't interested in moving down because they love Young and his potential at the next level. He'll be in good hands right from the start with new head coach Ron Rivera being a defensive-minded head coach. Washington really needs improvement in the pass-rush department, and Young will help them right away in that category. The Redskins Defense still won't be worth drafting in fantasy, but Young could be an IDP star right away. He's that good.
