Redskins Expect Jordan Reed To Play This Year
5 years agoWashington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said that he expects tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) to play again at some point this year. He won't play in Week 4 against the Giants and his return is likely weeks away, at best. Reed hasn't played since being diagnosed with a concussion in the third preseason game on Aug. 22. With seven documented concussions dating back to college, there's still a chance that Reed won't play again. He's been extremely injury-prone in his career and has never played a full season in seven years with the Redskins. You'll find him on the waiver wire in most leagues without a timetable to return. Vernon Davis' value has increased as a result, but he's still a low-upside TE2 in fantasy.
