Rashard Higgins Re-Signs With Browns
5 years agoThe Cleveland Browns agreed to re-sign wide receiver Rashard Higgins to a one-year deal worth $910,000 on Tuesday, according to a league source. The source said that Higgins turned down more money to play elsewhere. He's spent the last four seasons with Cleveland and has established chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield, going for a career-high 39 catches for 572 yards and four touchdowns in 2018. The 25-year-old sprained the medial collateral ligament in his knee on Sept. 8 of last year and also clashed with former head coach Freddie Kitchens. As a result, he missed some games and lost the No. 3 receiver job to Damion Ratley and KhaDarel Hodge. Buried on the depth chart, you can leave Higgins off your fantasy radar in all redraft leagues heading into the 2020 season.
