Rashaad Penny To Have Bigger Role This Week?
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer hinted that rookie running back Rashaad Penny would have a bigger role in the offense in Week 13 against the 49ers. Penny was used frequently in Weeks 10 and 11 with Chris Carson banged up, but he carried the ball just four times for four yards and played only 10 offensive snaps in Week 12. “I expect that he will play well this weekend,” Schottenheimer said. “Expect that we need to get the running game back going again and I think he’ll be a big part of that.” The Niners allow an average of 103 yards per game on the ground, but Penny is still a lottery ticket in fantasy as an RB3/flex as long as Carson remains the lead back.
