Rashaad Penny Blows Up Against Rams
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie running back Rashaad Penny had by far his best game of the season in Week 10 against the Rams, rushing 12 times for 108 yards and the first touchdown of his career. In the first eight games, Penny had 146 yards on 42 carries (3.5 yards per carry). With Chris Carson out with an injury, head coach Pete Carroll said Penny "looked just like the guy we thought he would look like when we drafted him." It's unclear when Carson will be back, but Penny's performance in Week 10 likely earned him a bigger role even when Carson returns.
