6 years agoThe Texas Rangers have told starting pitcher Martin Perez that they will not pick up his option for the 2019 season. The struggling left-hander will also move to the bullpen for the rest of the season. Perez is 2-6 on the season with a nightmarish 6.95 ERA, 1.89 WHIP and 5.5 K/9 in 13 starts (68 2/3 innings). You would've had to have been in a dire situation in an AL-only league to consider ever using Perez.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
