Randal Grichuk Out Of The Starting Lineup On Tuesday
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Zach Plesac and the Cleveland Indians. Corey Dickerson (foot), who was activated from the injured list on Tuesday, is getting the start at designated hitter and batting sixth. This will be his debut with the team. Grichuk has had a great year overall. Through 101 games, he's slashing .253/.283/.454 with 19 home runs, 67 RBI and 44 runs. However, his contact numbers have been down over the last month or so. He hit .197 in July and he has gone just 1-for-7 through his first two games in August. The contact numbers may come and go for Grichuk, but he should remain a strong source of home runs and RBI throughout the rest of the year.
