Rams Confident In Josh Reynolds
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said the trade of wide receiver Brandin Cooks was "a big vote of confidence" for wide receiver Josh Reynolds and his potential. "We just feel he’s a capable starting receiver," McVay said. Even with Cooks out of the picture, though, the Rams have a lot of mouths to feed in the passing game between receivers Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods and emerging tight ends Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee, so Reynolds won't necessarily see a huge uptick in targets as the new No. 3 receiver. The 25-year-old had his best year in 2018 when Kupp missed a big chunk of the season with an injury, catching 29 passes for 402 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games (eight starts). He'll strictly be receiver depth in deeper fantasy leagues in 2020.
