Ramon Laureano Not Playing Against Rangers
2 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (side) is out of the starting lineup on Monday against the Texas Rangers. Laureano will take a seat after leaving Sunday's game against the Houston Astros with left side soreness. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Laureano has struggled in the month of August, hitting just .205 (9-for-44) with a homer, six RBI and 14 strikeouts in 11 games. The 28-year-old Dominican is hitting just .223 on the year, but he also has 12 homers, 29 RBI, 44 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 309 at-bats to make him valuable in most mixed fantasy leagues. Skye Bolt is starting in right field on Monday and hitting sixth against Rangers right-hander Glenn Otto. Bolt will provide low upside for DFS gamers, as he's hitting .205 (18-for-88) with four homers, 12 RBI and five steals on the season.
