5 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders had been in talks with running back LeSean McCoy before they signed Devontae Booker. The Raiders also had talked with veteran Frank Gore, who ended up signing with the Jets. McCoy remains a free agent. He had a total of 979 yards the last two seasons after running for at least 1,138 yards in four of five seasons from 2013 to 2017. Shady is likely looking at playing just one more year in the NFL if he can land with a contender. The Raiders looking for more running back depth behind Josh Jacobs may mean that they aren't necessarily ready to give him a bigger load in the passing game in his sophomore season. Las Vegas also drafted Lynn Bowden Jr. and has Jalen Richard for depth, too.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
