Raiders Sticking With Derek Carr
6 years agoThe Oakland Raiders are saying that quarterback Derek Carr is their quarterback now and for the foreseeable future, according to sources. With Carr's poor play this year and his questionable leadership within his own locker room, there has been speculation that the Raiders might be looking to trade him. Head coach Jon Gruden continues to give assurances that Carr will not be traded and that he is their starter moving forward. Carr has been very poor this year for fantasy owners, and it doesn't help that he's now without running back Marshawn Lynch (groin) and wide receiver Amari Cooper (traded to Dallas) for the rest of the season. He'll remain a low-end QB2 for the foreseeable future.
