Raiders Sign Nelson Agholor
5 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders signed wide receiver Nelson Agholor and offensive guard Erik Kush to undisclosed deals on Saturday. The team also re-signed running back Rod Smith on Saturday. Agholor, a former first-round pick by the Eagles in 2015, failed to take advantage of injuries to both Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson in 2019. The 26-year-old (27 in May) had a disappointing 39 catches (69 targets) for 363 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games and finished the season on the sidelines with an injury. Depending on what the Raiders do in the draft, Agholor should be in three-wide sets with Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow, but tight end Darren Waller will also continue to see his fair share of targets. At best, he'll go into draft season as a WR4/5 target in deeper leagues.
