Raiders Seeking First-Round Pick For Amari Cooper
6 years agoThe Oakland Raiders are seeking a first-round pick in a trade for wide receiver Amari Cooper, according to a source informed of the situation. The Raiders and head coach Jon Gruden won't discuss shopping Cooper, but it appears they want to get rid of him after he has been highly inconsistent this year and in his career so far with Oakland. However, getting a first-rounder for the disappointing and now injured wideout -- he suffered a concussion in Week 6 -- seems outrageous. Cooper has become an untrustworthy WR4/flex, but a change of scenery might be the best thing for him. A receiver-needy team such as the Browns or Cowboys could bite. If Cooper is dealt, it'd increase the fantasy value of receivers Jordy Nelson, Martavis Bryant and Seth Roberts.
