6 years agoThe Oakland Raiders released quarterbacks Connor Cook and EJ Manuel after they traded for AJ McCarron. With Derek Carr as the starter in 2018, that leaves McCarron as his sole backup heading into the season. McCarron was fighting for a starting job in Buffalo but was injured in the preseason and lost out to rookie Josh Allen, making him expendable. McCarron has very little NFL experience, so the Raiders would be in some trouble if he's forced to make starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
