Raiders Continue To Address Offense With Bryan Edwards
5 years agoWith back-to-back picks in the third round, the Las Vegas Raiders took South Carolina wide receiver Bryan Edwards at pick No. 81 overall after they just took running back/wide receiver hybrid Lynn Bowden. Edwards joins Henry Ruggs III, who the Raiders took in the first round. Las Vegas is giving quarterback Derek Carr all the weapons he needs to succeed, so he won't have any excuses moving forward. Edwards has first-round talent but dropped in the draft because of a foot injury during the pre-draft process. He can beat press coverage and has a well-rounded game with awesome ball skills. The problem is he'll be buried on the depth chart behind Ruggs, Tyrell Williams and Darren Waller in his rookie season.
