Raheem Mostert Suffers Fractured Forearm
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (forearm) suffered a fractured right forearm in the blowout win over the Raiders on Thursday night, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. It's assumed that Mostert will be out for the rest of the season. Anybody watching the game knew right away that Mostert wouldn't play another down of football this year after his gruesome injury. It's unfortunate for the Niners and Mostert, because he had a big game and scored his first career touchdown before departing. Matt Breida and Alfred Morris will now split the backfield moving forward. Morris can be picked up off the waiver wire for any owners desperate at the position.
