Rafael Devers Looks To Improved Health In 2025
3 mins agoVeteran third baseman Rafael Devers hit .272 with 28 home runs, 83 RBI, three stolen bases, and 87 runs scored in 2024. Devers battled injuries and played in 138 games, the second-lowest total in his career. The All-Star battled through various ailments in 2024, most notably a shoulder injury. There are internal discussions in the Boston Red Sox organization about moving Devers from third base to first base to preserve him. His current ADP 0f 32 put him as a third-round pick and the fourth third baseman off the board. If Devers looks healthy in spring, that ADP is justified. Keep in mind he will be a four-category hitter but will not help you with stolen bases. With improved health, Devers should see an uptick in home runs and RBI. Picture a .275 batting average with 30+ home runs and 100 RBI in 2025.
