Quincy Enunwa Unlikely To Play In Week 17
6 years agoNew York Jets head coach Todd Bowles said the chances are "slim" that wide receiver Quincy Enunwa (ankle) will play in Week 17 against the Patriots. It will mean that Enunwa will finish off the season missing the final three games. He has 38 catches (68 targets) for 449 yards and only one touchdown in 11 games. With Jermaine Kearse (Achilles) also hurt, the Jets could be using Robby Anderson, Andre Roberts, rookie Deontay Burnett and Charone Peake in the season finale. Anderson has become quarterback Sam Darnold's go-to option and will be heavily targeted to close out the year.
