5 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates optioned starting pitcher Mitch Keller to Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday and recalled reliever Richard Rodriguez from Indianapolis in a corresponding move. Keller, the team's top prospect per MLB Pipeline, allowed seven hits (one grand slam) and six earned runs while walking two and fanning seven in four innings against the Reds in his major league debut on Tuesday night. It wasn't the debut he or fantasy owners were hoping for, but Keller should be up again in 2019 and should remain owned in dynasty/keeper formats for his tremendous upside. He's 5-0 with a 3.45 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 10.7 K/9 in nine starts for Indy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
