5 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates placed starting pitcher Jordan Lyles (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list on Monday with hamstring tightness and recalled pitcher Montana DuRapau from Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move. Lyles lasted just three innings in his last start against the Brewers and gave up three runs on five hits while walking four and striking out five. The right-hander has struggled of late, but he's 5-3 on the year with a decent 3.64 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in 64 1/3 frames in 2019. When he's back in the rotation, he'll once again be an acceptable deep mixed streamer. DuRapau is 0-1 with a 7.27 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in eight appearances for the Bucs this year and won't be much of a fantasy option, even if he serves as an opener again.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
