Pirates Hoping To Have Gregory Polanco Back In September
5 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates are hoping to get outfielder Gregory Polanco (shoulder) back in September before giving him the offseason to rest. Polanco's 2019 season has been a lost one after he underwent offseason shoulder surgery. The 27-year-old has hit .242/.301/.425 with only six home runs, 23 runs, 17 RBI and three steals in 42 games. Even if he returns later next month, fantasy owners shouldn't have any reason to have him on their rosters in redraft leagues. Hopefully he can rest and rehab the shoulder in the offseason and return in 2020 as a value pick later in drafts.
