Phillip Lindsay Expected To Be Ready For Training Camp
5 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said that running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp in July. He's been limited to individual drills in spring practices as he recovers from a wrist injury he suffered on Christmas Eve. “I feel like I’m very close,” Lindsay said. Fangio said Lindsay likely could have taken part in minicamp, but the Broncos are being extra cautious. The undrafted running back went for over 1,000 yards in his rookie season as one of the biggest surprises in 2018, and he scored 10 total touchdowns. Despite his success in Year 1, Lindsay will still share touches with Royce Freeman, but Lindsay is the one to own and won't come cheap in fantasy drafts.
