Phillies Not Worried About Slumping Bryce Harper
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said the team has no concerns about slumping outfielder Bryce Harper, and they didn't consider giving him the day off Wednesday. "There’s a very real chance that Bryce will play 162 games this year," Kapler said. "And if we discover he needs a blow some time, it’s something he and I will work on together." The superstar outfielder has three hits in his last 35 plate appearances (.107) with six walks, 12 strikeouts and one home run over that span. Harper is hitting .240 on the year with six long balls and 20 RBI, so he should be fine in the long run. Keep running him out there as long as he plays.
