6 years agoA trade that would send Miami Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto to the Philadelphia Phillies is "gaining momentum," according to a source. However, a trade may depend on whether the Phillies will include pitching prospect Sixto Sanchez in the deal. A source said that Sanchez is viewed as a "must" to be included in the package for Realmuto. Phillies catcher Jorge Alfaro and third baseman Alec Bohm have also come up in talks. Sanchez is ranked 27th and Bohm is ranked at No. 59 in MLB Pipeline's prospect ranking this year. Realmuto hit .277/.340/.484 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI in Miami last year and would benefit from a trade to Philly or anywhere else really. He's RotoBaller's No. 2 fantasy catcher and is expected to be traded before spring training starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
