Pavel Buchnevich Registers Two Assists In Nice Comeback Victory
6 years agoNew York Rangers winger Pavel Buchnevich played a big part in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over Boston, finishing with two assists. The young Russian registered both of his helpers in the third period when the Rangers were two goals down. Kevin Hayes cut the deficit to one before Filip Chytil's power-play goal took the game past regulation. Mika Zibanejad scored the team's first goal. Danton Heinen, David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron were on target for the Bruins. Alexandar Georgiev improved his record to 7-9-0 with a 27-save performance. Buchnevich is a talented guy, but he hasn't been trusted much this season for various reasons. However, that could change as he's currently filling a top-six role and playing alongside Hayes, who's having a career year.
